Your face & skin reflects how healthy you are mentally & physically, so Taking good care of your skin & body doesn’t cause any harm unless you are putting on the wrong products and irritating them. I believe flawless skin is a combination of several factors that include regular exercise, following a healthy skin-friendly diet, drinking plenty of water, good mental health & finally, a consistent skincare routine. Taking care of your skin is not about how many products you are using on your face. It’s all about how frequently you are doing it .so for flawless skin; one must follow a skincare routine every day. Along with a proper skincare routine, if you reduce stress and sugar intake, you can feel the quality of your skin is improving.
So about my skin, it’s not flawless; I do have pimples, blemishes, dark spots on my skin which I’m trying to improve by following a simple & minimal skincare routine. So finding out the right product for your skin is a crucial step. The products I’m mentioning here are suitable for my skin type & using them for more than three years now. So, to begin with, my skin is a combination of dry & oily. My skin used to be dry & flaky on colder days, but it tends to be more oily on warmer & humid days than ever.
To begin my day, I need to feel fresh & cleansed, so for that, I’m using Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser. It’s a gel-based foaming cleanser that removes dirt & excess oil by not drying out your skin. In addition, it is fragrance-free & an absolute must-have in my skincare routine. I use it before applying my makeup & it is gentle enough to use it every day. The next step is my favorite moisturizer which is Clinique Dramatically different moisturizing lotion. I’m obsessed with this moisturizer for more than four years now. It smoothens, nourishes & improves your skin texture. Again, it’s a must-have in my minimal skincare routine, and it helps me a lot during colder months as it eliminates all the dryness from my face.
So I may not be the right person to talk about face oils and serums since I’m not using those a lot. The only oil that I apply on my face daily is The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil, an excellent product for healthy-looking skin. It is an organic face oil that instantly softens your skin & moisturizes it. You can apply it daily before going to sleep & wake up with glowing skin the following day. But if you use it too much, your face may be looking too oily, so make sure to apply a tiny amount. The next product in my minimal skincare routine is this face scrub called St.ives Facial scrub to exfoliates and remove the dead cells on your face. After using this facial scrub twice a week, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin texture. Your makeup appears flawless, even when you put it after exfoliating your skin with this facial scrub. Another favorite facial scrub is The philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash. It is a very gentle facial scrub & a face wash that you can use daily to cleanse and smooths your skin.
Face masks are a fabulous product for improving your skin texture, .so before going with any face masks, you need to be aware of your skin type and what type of face masks you need. For example, my skin is prone to acne and blemishes, so I need a face mask to control excess oil and pimples, so I got this New York Biology Dead Sea Mud Mask for Face & Body to clear my pores & to make it look healthier.
