5 top red Lipsticks

Lipsticks are one makeup product that all girls must have in their makeup collection. Even if you are someone like me who doesn’t use that much makeup every day, we can’t step out without that tint of color on our lips. Many lipstick shades and finishes are available, but nudes, pinks, and reds are famous. I remember putting on the same glossy brown shade of lipsticks for every outfit & event when we were in college, but now I understand how important it is to select the right shade of lipstick for your skin tone & to match it with your outfit. Lipsticks can ruin or beautify your entire look based on what shade you are going with an outfit. So my lipstick collection is all about reds and nudes as it universal shade for any day, occasion, and attire. Also, it matches my skin tone. There is nothing sexier than wearing red lipstick to an event. It’s my go-to shade for any nighttime party or as part of a summer daytime outfit. It’s all about your personal preferences. If you don’t like bolder lip shades, you can always opt for muted red tone lipsticks.so if you are not feeling to put so much effort into dressing up but can’t avoid a party, then all you need to do is swipe your favorite red lipstick on your lips, and just a little mascara on your eyes can instantly make you glamourous.

I’m so excited to share my favorite red lipsticks here because these are the perfect shades I have finally found out with hours of online research. We all know that there are so many shades & tones of red; not every red lipstick looks the same so finding the right shade of red lipstick is a big challenge, so I hope you can find a red shade that matches your style reading through this post.

1. MAC, Relentlessly red

if you don’t like that deep red color on your lips, this color is for you. It’s a coral red matte color lipstick that holds up through your favorite meal. This red lipstick is a part of their retro matte collection. So this lipstick may be a little bit drying on your lips due to its matte feature. Don’t skip wearing lip balms before wearing this gorgeous shade of lip color. This shade goes well with a Little black dress or a bodycon dress. Finally, try to minimize your eye makeup and let your lips tell the story.

2. NYX, angel

This particular shade is almost similar to relentlessly red. It looks deeper in person but brighter in photos. Nyx, angel shade is a coral pinky tone red shade that has a creamy satin finish. I like this lipstick because it’s not drying and flaky. I had worn it so many times when I was soo obsessed with coral shades. It is pigmented and glides smoothly on your lips after the first swipe itself. It’s an affordable option when compared to other red lipsticks.

3. Anastasia Beverly hills-American doll

This shade from Anastasia Beverly hills gives you that iconic bold red lips in just one swipe. It is highly pigmented and long-lasting with a matte formula. It is an intense color, so if you want to highlight & emphasize your lips, this is your perfect shade. As the lip color itself is too loud, try to keep your make-up subtle and low-key. It’s a completely matte formula so that it may dry out your lips. I have used lip balm underneath it. It doesn’t give your lips a moisturized feeling like other liquid lipsticks, but it lasts for a more extended period.

4. MAC -Stay Curious

I am in love with this beautiful muted red shade from the mac powder kiss range of lipsticks. It is a combination of matte as well as moisture kind of lipstick. It brightens up your face instantly and gives it a more natural and fresh look. So Stay curious from mac is my favorite red shade of lipstick that goes well with any outfit in my wardrobe.

So here in pictures, due to lighting, it turned out to be a deeper red shade, but it’s a brighter muted red shade in person.

5. loreal Paris infallible pro-matte gloss nude allude

The brand loreal always comes up with some fantastic products for the face and especially for lips. I’m addicted to liquid lipstick because of its long-lasting feature, and it glides on smoothly & evenly onto our lips without so much hustle. So I got this LOreal infallible pro-matte gloss liquid lipstick in the shade nude allude & it perfectly matches my skin tone. If you like bold lips, you will get disappointed because it’s not an actual red shade. It’s a combination of brown and maroon. So it goes well with any outfit. This pro-matte range of liquid lipsticks is a creamy-satin finish texture rather than matte, so it won’t make your lips dry at all. I don’t usually use a lip balm underneath this lipstick. The applicator of this lipstick is unique & remarkable for giving your lips shape & dimension. So overall, it is a stunning liquid lipstick with lots of good features.

1 Bodycon dress 3 ways

The Body-hugging, tight-fitted dress, otherwise called a bodycon dress, is a highly fashionable attire that every fashionista loves. It’s an iconic piece of garment that never goes out of trend, and you can wear it in any season. It’s a perfect outfit for a date night, casual party, or office wear. So, if you want to stand out and look effortlessly fashionable/stylish, then a bodycon dress is a perfect choice. But, unfortunately, many of us are not comfortable wearing this kind of dress because it highlights our curves and body. But there are some fabulous ways to style a bodycon dress to make it more appealing and flattering. e.g., choosing the suitable fabric for a bodycon dress and adding an overall is an excellent idea for those of you who do not like to wear a bodycon dress as it is. Also, I love the idea of layering when it comes to tight-fitted dresses. For example, add a denim jacket over your bodycon dress and white sneakers with minimal accessories to make you look feminine and stylish. Likewise, it goes well with a cool leather jacket and thigh-high boots for colder days.

There are a lot of ways you can wear a bodycon dress. Here I will show you three different ways to put together a bodycon dress.

1. Bodycon dress and coverup

A bodycon dress looks flattering regardless of any body type and age. However, if you are not comfortable with revealing too much, then cover-ups are your best companion. You can experiment with a denim or leather jacket as well. If you don’t want to layer & experiment too much, Pick a bodycon dress of thick fabric and a darker shade instead. Choosing the proper footwear is as essential as your outfit. It needs to complement your attire. e.g., a sexy pair of stilettos is an excellent option for any length bodycon dress. Instead, go with flats or sneakers for a more casual look.

I layered my bodycon dress with a coverup and paired it with chunky gold hoop earrings and necklaces for my first look. It is a casual yet stunning look for any occasion.

Bodycon dress & cardigan

A long chiffon vest/cardigan looks fabulous when wearing it over a dress or a tee. You can pair it up with a simple white tee and blue jeans for that instant chic look. Adding an extra jacket, vests, cardigans, or any outerwear to our dresses or tees makes us look dressed up with less effort. I love knee-length jackets in general, and chiffon vests or jackets are my absolute favorites for those hot, humid days. You can choose any fabric for your cardigan. Go with a soft chiffon cardigan for a more casual look & the color of your vest or jackets must compliment your dress or tees.

Bodycon dress & crochet top

There are no rules in fashion. You can experiment with your dress or blouses in infinite ways for that specific look on your mind, but if we don’t put it together, it will look unappealing & outdated. I always prefer adding an extra piece of clothing over a bodycon dress. And of course, if it is a thick fabric and not body-hugging like the one in my pictures, it can easily be worn alone. So choosing the right outerwear for your bodycon dress is not an easy task. First, it needs to match your dress and your style. You can always choose neutral shades and patterns for your outerwear, like black or off-white. Also, if you don’t like to wear it with jackets or cardigans, layer it with your favorite blouse instead. Finally, a sheer meshed or crochet blouse looks more fashionable when you wear it over a bodycon dress.

So this third look is all about something casual and chic. Nothing is more fun and refreshing than experimenting with your everyday tops in different ways. I love to reuse and wear my clothes all the time. So here I wore my crochet white top over a bodycon dress to give it a fresh look. This outfit is your best option for a meet-up with a friend or just as a brunch outfit.
